-Bream starting to move off edges to about 8-9ft and have been getting caught on prawns and bass yabbies. And small Jackal hard bodies and Eco gear ZX 35. Flatties are still very quiet but a few have been taken in deeper water on small vibes and soft plastics. There was one mulloway caught by a lucky angler out of a hire boat on bait up the Narrows.

Bream sitting on the edges of flats taking bass yabbies, squidgy pro prawns and deep diving chubbies.
- Still plenty of smaller flathead around the main channel being taken on prawns and small prawn soft plastics.
There are still luderick around the main wharf on the incoming tide taking green weed suspended under floats.
Tailor and the odd salmon in Harrisons Channel taking metal slice lures.

Large schools of salmon and tailor in most gutters on high tide. Plenty have been taken on pilchards and surf popper combos and lure fishers have been catching them on blue/ silver metal slices. A few large hammer head sharks have been spotted behind the breakers along Tip and Quarry beach and a few gummy sharks have been caught casting larger baits such as salmon fillets.

Large blue-spot flathead have started showing up and have been taken by people bottom bouncing with blue bait and micro jigs in 30-40ft of water.
The larger kingfish (90cm+) have shown up. With a few 1m+ specimens being caught. The best method has been trolling skirts/ large hard bodies around small reefs until fish show up then sound around for schools and drop small knife and micro jigs into the deeper fish.
Sharks have started to pick up with plenty of small to medium sized gummy sharks been taken by people bottom bouncing.
Not much in the way of pelagic sharks with only a few mako and bronze whaler sightings while drift fishing.
