Port Phillip Bay
Team member James has been busy on the Kayak before and after work picking up some nice snapper locally using Z-Man soft plastics. James has been drifting near Ricketts point and marking the fish up on his sounder then dropping plastics down to the fish.

Customer Beau has been into the land based reds this week with multiple fish being caught. This is one he got that went 83cm and was taken at about 3pm, which shows with rough weather and dirty water you can catch big snapper at any time.

Aarron Habgood and crew caught some monster squid over at Queenscliff this week and although the water was very dirty on the back end of the tide once they found them it was just a matter of repeating the same drift. Aaron said there were plenty of big squid on the chew and should continue for a few more weeks.

Ahmad Allouche got out with mates on Saturday bagging out in a good session on the local Sorrento squid. A variety of jigs worked well on the day especially natural coloured jigs. The boys said the water was pretty dirty however once they found them they just needed to drift the same line on the gps.

Western Port
Gawaine Blake ventured out on his first trip for the season chasing the reds. Gamakatsu circle hooks with fresh baits produced Snapper to 6kg. Fishing near the top end of the bay has produced this lovely fish and is a great spot to look at this time of the year.
