Forecast Weather: Friday is not looking the best with 10 to 20 mm of rain forecast and winds to peak at 24kmh. Temp not so bad reaching 18 deg C. A chance of showers is the prediction for the remainder of the weekend with temps between 4 & 12 deg C.
Rainfall this month = 18.7mm
Full Moon = 18 August New Moon = September 1st Water Temperature: 11-12 deg C

Murray Cod: Happy to say things have picked up nicely on the Murray Cod scene, and once again some of the regular diehards have put the time in on the water over the weekend to get the results. Terry from the ACT landed a great fish at 103cm and Glen from Marulan picked up a beauty at 97 cm. James from Griffith ACT picked up 4 cod during his stay last week with the biggest being 88cm, James used Trolled hard bodies. There have also been some other fish at 80 cm and 72 cm on the office catch sheet. The cod may also be in the shallows around the newly drowned timber and rocks so a big hard body or surface lure cast in close to the bank is also well worth a go.

Yellow Belly: Fishing the shallows around the shoreline of the dam remains the best option. There has been the occasional fish picked up on the troll however getting in amongst the drowned timber close to the bank is the best bet. Wayne from the ACT has paid us a few visits over the past couple of weeks. Wayne has fished off the bank in his favourite spot using worms & managed a bag limit on most days. He topped it of last week with a PB of 595 mm.

Redfin: There are a few redies about with most anglers picking up a couple of fish on worms or lure while chasing yellows.
The 2nd Greg Whitehead fishing challenge has arrived with competition to kick off at midday this Friday. You can give Adam a call on 0422717077 for entry or other information.
